Mr. Avnish Kumar Jha, Deputy General Manager has been appointed as Faculty Member at NBSC since May 2021. Prior to this, he worked in Assam and Bihar Regional Office of NABARD and also worked as District Development Manager at NABARD in East Champaran district of Bihar. He has done his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi University and holds Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Management from IIM, Bangalore. He has qualified CAIIB from IIBF. Prior to NABARD, he has worked as an Engineer in SAIL (Steel Authority of India Limited). He has over 25 years of progressive work experience across multiple sectors in the Government and infrastructure space; He has extensive experience in working with National and International developmental organizations and State Governments on Policy Formulation, Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building. He has Strong expertise in Contract Management, Financial and Economic assessment, monitoring and evaluation of infrastructure projects across different sectors. His specialisation involves Public policy, Credit Planning and Monitoring, Public Private Partnership, Infrastructure Financing, NBFC financing, Microfinance, Program design and project management Strategic Planning, Business Development Finance specialist, Multi-disciplinary Team Involvement, Relationship Development and Management.

Dr. Sudharsan Sambasivam, Deputy General Manager, has been serving as a Faculty Member at NBSC since 10 April 2023. Prior to this, he worked as DGM at NABARD’s Tamil Nadu Regional Office, Chennai. He holds a postgraduate degree in Veterinary Science and a Ph.D. in Animal Biotechnology from the prestigious Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS), Chennai. He was awarded ICAR and CSIR fellowships for his M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. research respectively, and has qualified JAIIB from IIBF and NET from ICAR. His area of specialization is Animal Husbandry and Consultancy, and he has conducted over 60 studies in Animal Husbandry and other agricultural sectors across all states of India. With over 20 years of experience, he has worked in diverse

departments of NABARD including Investment Credit, Consultancy (Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Business Development & International Business), Corporate Planning, State Projects, Business Initiatives, Storage and Marketing, Off-Farm Development, Economic Analysis and Research, Micro-credit Innovations, Financial Inclusion, Banking Technology, Institutional Development, and Human Resource Management. He has served NABARD and NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS) in various capacities at Pune, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Chennai, and has travelled extensively across the country. As a team leader, he led a delegation of bankers and state government officials to Israel on an exposure visit focused on High-tech Agriculture.5

Mr. Pankaj Kumar Tripathi, Deputy General Manager, has been serving as a Faculty Member at NBSC since May 2021. His areas of expertise include Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Financial Inclusion. He holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Commerce from Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur, M.P., and an MBA with dual specialization in HR and Marketing from the Faculty of Management Studies, AIMT, Jabalpur. He has rich experience working in HRMD at Head Office for six years, as well as in the Department of Financial Inclusion and Banking Technology at both Head Office and Punjab Regional Office. He has been actively involved in various policy-level committees, including those for manpower assessment in HRMD-HO, the comprehensive financial inclusion core team, and ECM. Prior to joining NBSC as a faculty member, he served as District Development Manager in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Mr. Sawan Prakash, Deputy General Manager has been appointed as Faculty Member at NBSC since 10.04.2023. He is a Graduate with Mathematics (Hons) from Patna University and a Postgraduate in Rural Development from IGNOU. His other qualifications include CAIIB and Executive Certification Programme in Business Analytics from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He is presently pursuing Masters in Business Administration (MBA – Finance) from IIT, Patna. For last 24 years, he has a vivid experience of working in different departments like HRMD, State Projects Department (SPD), Department of Supervision (DoS), Off-farm Development Department (OFDD), Farm Sector Development Department (FSDD) & Corporate Communication Department (CCD). He is also having precious field level experience of 6 years working as DDM in Kishanganj & Araria districts of Bihar. As a faculty member at NBSC, he is actively associated in conduct of programmes / handling sessions in the areas of Supervision, Financial Analysis, HR and Public Relations & Media Management.

Ms. Amita Tripathi has been serving as a Faculty Member at NBSC since April 2023. She holds a Post Graduate degree in English, an MBA in Marketing, and a PG Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication, with academic specialization in development and mass communication. She has gained rich experience working in various departments including Micro Credit Innovation Department, Farm Sector Development Department, Department of Financial Inclusion and Banking Technology, Off Farm Development Department, and Public Relations. Her professional journey includes postings in Regional Offices of West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, as well as at NABARD’s Head Office. She has also served as District Project Manager under the Priyadarshini Project of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, implemented by NABARD in Raebareli district of Uttar Pradesh.

Smt. Ajanta Khaklari is a Postgraduate in Economics. She joined NABARD in the year 2003 and has completed nearly 23 years of distinguished service. Over the years, she has worked across various departments including Institutional Development Department, Department of Information and Technology, Corporate Planning Department, Risk Management Department, Department of Refinance, Business Initiatives Department, Off Farm Development Department, Department of Financial Inclusion and Banking Technology, and Human Resource Development Department. This wide-ranging experience has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of NABARD’s operations and strategic priorities. She has served in various capacities at NABARD’s West Bengal Regional Office, Head Office Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh Regional Office, and Uttarakhand Regional Office, building a strong foundation in both field-level implementation and institutional functioning. Currently, she is serving as the Faculty Member at the National Bank Staff College since April 2025, where she is actively involved in training and capacity building.

Smt. Sweta Singh is a graduate in Agriculture from Banaras Hindu University, Uttar Pradesh. Subsequently she completed her MBA- Agri Business Management from Symbiosis Institute of International Business, Pune and is a Gold Medalist from the batch of 2007-09. She joined NABARD in the year 2010 and has served for 15 years in various capacities in NABARD’s Haryana Regional Office, Head Office Mumbai and Telangana Regional Office. She has looked after various departments which include Nabard Consultancy Services, Department of Economic Analysis and Research, Human Resource Management, Business Initiatives Department, Risk Management Department and Off Farm Development Department. During her services, she has gained experience in consultancy field and direct financing products of NABARD. She has also worked keenly for promoting farm and off farm sector through NABARD initiatives. Currently she is serving as the Faculty Member at National Bank Staff College since April 2025.

Shri Jayant Vishnu is currently serving as Deputy General Manager (Administration) at the National Bank Staff College (NBSC). He holds a B.Sc. and an M.A. in Rural Development, has completed the CAIIB, and is presently pursuing an MBA from IIT Patna. Over the course of his career with NABARD, he has served in various capacities across the Haryana Regional Office, Uttar Pradesh Regional Office, and as District Development Manager (DDM) in Samastipur, Bihar. He has experience of working in Corporate Planning Department, MCID, DoR, FSDD, HRMD. Known for his professionalism, leadership, and deep understanding of rural development. As the administrator, he actively involved in infrastructure development projects of NBSC and BIRD Campus.

Shri Niranjan Bhuyan, Deputy General Manager has been appointed as Faculty Member at NBSC since May 2026. Prior to this, he worked in Bihar, West Bengal and Odisha Regional Offices of NABARD and served as District Development Manager for 6 years in West Medinipur and Jhargram districts of West Bengal. He has done his Post Graduation in Physics and Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication and a CAIIB from IIBF. He has over 25 years of work experience spanning across multiple departments like State Project Department, Department of Refinance, Department of Micro Finance and Financial inclusion, Strategic Planning and Product Innovation Department, Corporate Planning and Off Farm Development Department. He has also contributed to the governance of rural financial institution through his tenure as a Director on the Board of erstwhile Odisha Gramya Bank for two years and Odisha Grameen Bank for one year post phase IV amalgamation. His specialisation involves Strengthening Financial Institutions, Promoting Inclusive Finance, Credit Planning and Business Development. As a faculty member at NBSC, he is actively associated in conducting programmes in the areas of Supervision, Institutional Development, Financial Analysis and Business Development.
