Dr. Vivek Pathania, Dy. General Manager is posted as Faculty Member at NBSC since 1 May 2017. He is a Doctorate in Dairy Science from National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal. His areas of expertise include techno financial appraisal of agricultural and allied sector projects, credit planning, projects monitoring, consultancy, watershed, food processing, farm sector, farmer’s collectives, etc. In NABARD, Dr. Pathania has worked in various capacities in the last 24 years in HO, Mumbai and in erstwhile Punjab and Haryana Regional Office. He has also served as District Development Manager in Una district of Himachal Pradesh for seven years. He is presently acting as Academic In charge (New Initiatives) in NBSC. As a Faculty Member in NBSC, Lucknow, he is actively associated with conduct of In campus, collaborative and International programmes in the field of Agri & Allied, Techno Financial Appraisal of Agricultural Projects, Farmer Producer Organisations, commodity trading, Rural Bank supervision, Agri marketing, Value Chain Financing, watershed, tribal development, etc.

Sunil K Kaushik

Mr. Sunil Kaushik, Deputy General Manager has been appointed as Faculty Member at NBSC since April 2017. Prior to this, he worked as an Assistant General Manager at NABARD, Haryana Regional Office from 2014-17. He is a Post Graduate in Agriculture (Horticulture) from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Haryana & holds Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand, Gujarat. His areas of specialization include farm sector policy, farmers’ club programme, watershed development, microfinance, off-farm development, infrastructure finance, institutional development and farmers’ collectives, etc. In NABARD, Mr. Kaushik has worked in various capacities in the last 24 years in ROs in Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana including six years as a District Development Manager, Jind and Kaithal in Haryana. He has attended a large number of national and international training programmes, seminars and workshops.

Prabhat Keshava

Mr. Prabhat Keshava, Deputy General Manager has been appointed as Faculty Member at NBSC since 23.04.2018. Prior to this, he worked as AGM in Department of Supervision at West Bengal Regional Office, Kolkata for 5 years. He is a Graduate in Agriculture from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and Post Graduate in Animal Genetics and Breeding from National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal. During his M.Sc., he received JRF of the institute (NDRI). He has qualified CAIIB from IIBF. His areas of specialization include supervision of banks and has vast experience of more than 12 years in supervision of Rural Financial Institutions. Other areas of interest include techno financial appraisal of agricultural and allied sector projects, credit planning, and micro-finance and has associated in a number of NABCONS projects related to formulation of DPR and monitoring of projects. Mr. Keshava, prior to joining NABARD, has worked as Agriculture Extension Officer in Canara Bank where he acquired rich knowledge of commercial banking and rural credit. In NABARD he has worked in various capacities in the last 21 years in Kerala, Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal ROs including 5 years as DDM in Bihar RO. Here as Faculty Member has actively associated in conduct of programmes / handling sessions in the areas of Supervision, Financial Analysis, Micro-credit and Appraisal and Monitoring of Projects.

Shri N Vikraman, is a Faculty Member with NBSC since April 2019. He is a Master of Science in Plant Sciences and M Tech in Agriculture Systems & Management from IIT, Kharagpur. His area of specialisation include infrastructure financing, group-mode of financing, financing farmers’ collectives, business development of cooperatives, formulating natural resource management programmes, etc. He has rich working experience in various functional departments like DOR, SPD, CPD, FSDD besides taking up various consultancy assignments for NABCONS. He has served in various regional offices, including in North Eastern Region. He has spearheaded WDF programme under the PM’s Package for Distress Districts in the three districts of Kerala. During his stint as District Development Manager, Villupuram in Tamil Nadu, mobilised the first ever direct finance project for PACS as MSC under PODF in 2011 and coordinated the launch of NABARD assisted pilot programme on Mobile KCC (mKCC) for farmers of Pallavan Grama Bank. He has facilitated the conduct of the first On-line training programme through Cisco WebEx at NBSC in April 2020. He has participated in the training programmes at various premier national institutes like NIBM, SIBCB, international training in Philippines and coordinated a team of officers to study Hi-tech agriculture for sustainable development in Israel.

Shankar Doraiswamy

Mr. Shankar Doraiswamy, Deputy General Manager has been appointed as Faculty Member in NBSC since May 2020. Prior to this, he has worked as a District Development Manager of Cuddalore district of Tamilnadu. He is a Graduate in Agriculture Engineering from Tamilnadu Agriculture University (TNAU), Coimbatore and Post Graduate in MBA-Financial Management from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamilnadu. He is also a CAIIB from IIBF. His areas of specialization includes Project Finance – Appraisal of Farm Sector & Rural Infrastructure projects besides Natural Resource Management Projects viz. Watershed Development, Wadi and Climate Change. Institutional Development of Rural Financial Institutions, Farm Mechanisation and IT initiatives. He has also associated in a number of NABCONS Projects related to formulation of DPR, Monitoring of projects, Supply Chain Management. Mr. Shankar, prior joining to NABARD has worked as a Faculty Trainer at Product Training Centre of TAFE, Chennai. In NABARD, he has worked in various capacities in the last 21 years in Odisha, Tamilnadu, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh.

Mr. Ravindra Jaiswal, Deputy General Manager has been appointed as Faculty Member at NBSC since 13.07.2020. Prior to this, he was DGM, DOS/IDD/DEAR at MP Regional Office since 01.01.2020. He is a Post Graduate in Economics from Kanpur University. His other qualifications include CAIIB and PG Diploma in Management. He has worked in Non-Farm Sector, Micro Credit, Watershed Development, and Institutional Development Department/s. He has rich experience of working in Department of Supervision for 05 years. He has also served NABARD as District Development Manager for 06 years in the state of Punjab. He has worked in various capacities in the last 30 years in Mumbai, HO and in ROs in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh. He has attended various training programmes on Watershed Development, Microfinance, DDM’s role, and Supervision including a training programme on Supervision to study the cooperative banking system in Germany.

Mr. Pankaj Kumar Tripathi, Deputy General Manager has been appointed as Faculty Member in NBSC since May 2021. His area of expertise are Human Resource Management, Marketing and Financial Inclusion. He has done his Graduation as well as Master in Commerce from Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur, M.P. He has also done his MBA with dual specialisation in HR and Marketing from Faculty of Management Studies, AIMT, Jabalpur. He has rich experience of working in HRMD Head Office for 06 years, Department of Financial Inclusion and Banking technology in Head Office and Punjab Regional Office. He has been associated with various policy level committees for manpower assessment of HRMD-HO, comprehensive financial inclusion core team and ECM. Before joining as faculty NBSC, he was posted as DDM-Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Avnish Kumar Jha

Mr. Avnish Kumar Jha, Deputy General Manager has been appointed as Faculty Member at NBSC since May 2021. Prior to this, he worked in Assam and Bihar Regional Office of NABARD and also worked as District Development Manager at NABARD in East Champaran district of Bihar. He has done his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi University and holds Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He has qualified CAIIB from IIBF. Prior to NABARD, he has worked as an Engineer in SAIL (Steel Authority of India Limited). He has over 20 years of progressive work experience across multiple sectors in the Government and infrastructure space; He has extensive experience in working with National and International developmental organizations and State Governments on Policy Formulation, Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building. He has Strong expertise in Contract Management, Financial and Economic assessment, monitoring and evaluation of infrastructure projects across different sectors. His specialisation involves Public policy, Credit Planning and Monitoring, Public Private Partnership, Infrastructure Financing, NBFC financing, Microfinance, Program design and project management Strategic Planning, Business Development Finance specialist, Multi-disciplinary Team Involvement, Relationship Development and Management.
